“Capturing the light and color is everything! As a plein air painter, it is always the light and colors that I remember most about any location. My subject matter is nature, whether it is a landscape, floral or portrait painting. I paint with oils to capture movement and life. It’s all expressed in the spontaneous dance and movement of the brush as it meets the canvas. My palette is bold and lively, and full of light! I pursue a variety of subjects from still lifes to dramatic landscapes.”
